What To Expect:
Visiting a church for the very first time can be nerve racking to say the least. There are a thousand questions that come to mind in preparing to attend a new church for the first time. We want to take the opportunity and help answer any questions that might happen to arise.
Those that visit Bible Baptist Church can expect it to be what church is supposed to be. Because we believe that God is the audience of every service, you won’t find a casual approach to worship in any of our services. But you will find people that we take worship and serving the Lord very seriously and therefore have done our best to make each and every service a designated time that will honor God. You will find spirit filled congregational singing by people that have been gloriously saved and have a desire to honor their Saviour. You will witness special music from various groups within the church that uplift the Lord and attempt to bring our attention toward heaven. You will find an extreme emphasis on the preaching and teaching of the Scriptures. At the end of each service, there is an invitation given to respond to the challenge from God’s Word. The fact that God would take time and speak to man through the declaration of the Bible is an amazing thought within itself and demands that He receive a response from us. The Pastor or trained men and women are always available to pray with you or assist you with further help during the invitation time.
What About Children and Youth Services?
At Bible Baptist, we love children and take seriously the responsibility to give them the special care you would expect. The Nursery, for children age three and younger, is safe and clean. Caring workers staff the nursery for each worship service.
On Sunday mornings at 9:45 A.M., children age 4 through 12 can enjoy Bible-centered classes with trained and compassionate teachers and helpers. At 10:50 A.M. we have a Children’s Church for ages 4-6 and Junior Church for ages 7-12.
Teenagers have Bible Study classes at 9:45 A.M. and attend the main worship service at 10:50 A.M.
How should I dress?
There is not a set dress code at Bible Baptist Church for members or guests. Most of our church family attire is traditional “Sunday best”, as we believe very strongly that God deserves our best in every area and casualness doesn’t promote the Biblical attitude that God’s people should have when they meet to worship. Regardless of what you wear, we want you to feel welcome with God’s people as we meet with the Lord.
Am I expected to participate in the offering?
No. We invite you to our services in hopes that you find a warm welcome, a meaningful worship experience, and a helpful message from God’s Word. We do not want you, as our guest, to feel any obligation to participate in the offering.
